Annual Members Meeting
This Thursday in Studio A, you the loving family of MTN, have the opportunity to show your support for what we do here. There will be a live show August 4, at 2pm starring our Minneapolis City Council members. MTN's annual report will be presented and we will hear some words from the members. Not everyone will get the chance to speak but your presence is just as valuable as your words. If you can't make it, please tune in to MTN channel 17 at two in the afternoon to see how your favorite non-profit organization is growing! Thanks.

Producer's Happy Hour
The summer installation of the Producers Happy Hour takes place THIS Friday! This Happy Hour will focus on the skill and talents used to gain Internet momentum for your program. Folks from the MTN community will be here to share their experiences with web technology and how well it fits into the television work that you do as a producer. The event kicks off at 7pm for mingling and at 7:30 the discussion begins for the television show. Come on down to Studio A and take part in a GREAT opportunity!

MTN CLEAN UP DAY!!!!
On August 25th, MTN staff will be at MTN at 10am sharp to get some CLEANING done! (SO EXCITING!) MTN will be closed on Thursday the 25th until 3:30pm at which time we will open so that Lemmy O' Live doesn't miss a beat in their live show calendar and folks still have a good 5 hours to get some project work done. We welcome volunteers who would like to offer up any spare elbow grease they might have lying around the house. This is a chance for us to get organized and offer the MTN community an especially creative space to work in! (CAN'T WAIT!)

Another Successful Summer
Well, we wrapped up the 2011 media camps. It was a great summer with so many fresh faces sharing their energy in our space. Again our teachers wowed and amazed us with their hard work and commitment. One last thank you goes out to Chipotle who provided excellent lunches for our youth and staff. Our summers only seem to be gaining momentum! Here's to another awesome season!
