Minneapolis Neighborhood News is a production of the Minneapolis Neighborhood Revitalization Program and MTN. In this show we take a look at the Northeast Arts District Signs project, the Neighborhood Representatives meeting for the Minneapolis Neighborhood and Community Engagement Commission, the East Harriet Farmstead Neighborhood's Winter Kite Festival, and the Sheridan Neighborhood Organization's SNO Ball.

Segment One: Northeast Arts District Banners

Neighborhood groups in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District worked with the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association to establish banners to define the Arts District.

Segment two: NCEC Neighborhood Representative Meeting

The Neighborhood and Community Engagement Commission will be replacing the Neighborhood Revitalization Program to fund neighborhood organizations and their activities. This meeting was held to determine a process for appointing or electing neighborhood representives to the governing board of this Commission.

Segment three: Winter Kite Festival

The East Harriet Farmstead Neighborhood Association's Winter Kite Festival builds community on the frozen Lake Harriet on a Saturday in January.

Segment four: SNO Ball

The Sheridan Neighborhood Organization's SNO Ball is a fancy dress fundraiser in its 10th year.
