
Thirteen Ways of Looking at Minneapolis is a televised series of documentary productions that is designed to examine life in all thirteen wards of the city of Minneapolis throughout the year 2013. The year-long TV series will be a comprehensive and poetic insider’s view of what makes the City of Lakes what it is today.
Organized by the Minneapolis Television Network (MTN), Thirteen Ways of Looking at Minneapolis is open to anyone — television producers, filmmakers, artists, and local creatives — who would like to explore their own vision of what makes Minneapolis vibrant and unique. Submitted documentaries/films should optimally be between 3 and 15 minutes in length (though we will accept longer documentaries if the quality is high throughout). All Thirteen Ways’ submissions will be entered into be broadcast on Comcast Cable Channel 17 (and over the Internet) during 2013 and entered into a Best of Thirteen Ways contest that will culminate in a gala film screening in November, 2013.
