Dear Friend of MTN,

I am writing to ask your help on two very important matters:

MTN budget cut. Mayor Rybak has proposed a $100,000 cut to MTN's 2008 operating budget. He wants to re-direct our funds to the new Wireless Portals Project. This is the second blow to our budget in two years. In 2007 MTN endured a $50,000 cut. We fear that if we don't speak out now, the city will continue to erode our budget each year.

These reductions will result in the loss of key services critical to MTN's public access mission. Please take a moment to contact both Mayor Rybak and your city council member.
